Three Horses Statues

In 2023, three magnificent green horse sculptures were erected in front of the historical stables at Arboretum Volčji Potok. The primary goal of this project was to celebrate the Arboretum’s rich history as a former stud farm while simultaneously presenting itself as a modern, green destination.

Cultivating a Vision

The greening of the modules in the greenhouse was meticulously carried out using two types of plants: green and purple Alternanthera. After a month of careful cultivation, the modules were ready to be transported to their designated location. The installation of the three horse sculptures was completed within four hours.


A Captivating Sight

Over the course of three months, the sculptures attracted thousands of visitors. The unique sight of the green horses inspired a multitude of photographs and social media posts, as nothing like it had ever been seen before in the region.


A Vision Fulfilled

As the first frost arrived, the exhibition came to a close. The sculptures were carefully dismantled and transported away on the same day.

The exhibition successfully achieved its goals in a manner that aligns perfectly with the park’s vision. The project not only paid homage to the Arboretum’s historical roots but also solidified its position as a pioneering green destination, captivating the hearts and imaginations of all who visited.
