The pillar has its own irrigation system, so it does not need to be connected to the electrical or water grid. This allows for quick installation without any disruption to the infrastructure.

The primary purpose of the information pillar is to promote the city with a photo point (a stainless steel module with a sign and the city’s coat of arms). Visitors can take photos next to the pillar, which helps to spread awareness of the city.
A local gardener, selected by the client, is responsible for planting the modules with the selected plants. This ensures that the pillar is green throughout the year.
With additional equipment, Hexatera® 1300 can also be used indoors.
